MATHEWS:
Finally a bit of luck in all this blue!

Panel 2 [Mathews on the deck, grinning, walking through the mess of another whale trying out as the crew labors behind him]

MATHEWS:
And it was me that raised this whale.

Panel 3 [Mathews turns back to look at the crew at work]

MATHEWS:

Was me that killed him, too. Don’t any of you forget that.

Panel 4 [Mathews harasses Apollo Delaman, slapping his arm as other man minces blubber into a tub]

MATHEWS:
Make sure you mince 'em proper. Don’t get sloppy.
